One of many sons of Metro in South Africa, but Hakbos Vuurslag carries outcross genetics for us on his dams side as well. At the World Congress show of almost 600 Fulblood Simmentals, a Metro son out of Siska (the Bar 5 "S" cow family) placed first and second in the Get of Sire. Metz "M" calving ease blood here. Anyone remember the calving ease German Import, Bar 5 Big Deutsche ??? He was a direct son of Metz !!!!

One of the Grand 15 in the Bar 5 SA program, certainly worth adding this to the mix. We have seen the Metz from Bar 5 Big Deutsche, Morello and Metro – now we are using it in our mix with Hakbos Vuurslag.
