Precise 242 comes from the famed Rishel Angus herd
in Nebraska with such notables as B/R New Design 036,
B/R New Design 323, B/R New Frontier 095, and B/R New
Destination 727. All of these bulls are doing great
things for the Angus breed.
B/R Precise 242 is a very high performance son of
White Oak Precise 6002, with tremendous carcass numbers.
His dam, B/R Kildonan Erica 992, is a direct daughter
of B/R Kildonan Erica 642 who was purchased by Riverbend
Ranch for $17,000. Over her tenure at Riverbend this
female constructed an average progeny IMF ratio of
107 and an average progeny REA ratio of 101 on 22 head
evaluated by ultrasound. 242 himself was 78lbs at birth,
710 at weaning and 1302lbs at a year of age. He posted
an impressive 3.67lbs of gain per day, the growth is
there, as his mother posts an impressive birth ratio
of 2-95, a weanging ratio of 2-107, and a yearling
ratio of 2-105.
